Sterile Compounding Technician
Vios Compounding Pharmacy is looking for experienced and eager Sterile Compounding Technicians to join our staff in Livonia, MI. Our hours of operation are 8:30am – 5pm (Monday – Friday). We are closed all weekends and major holidays. We are a Compounding Pharmacy with a strong work-based / family atmosphere. Applicants must be local and work on-site. The Sterile Compounding Technician is responsible for interpreting formula worksheets and compounding medication using approved equipment and aseptic processes. Technicians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the compounding equipment. All duties are performed under the supervision of a Lead Technician and a licensed pharmacist. The Sterile Compounding Technician demonstrates a commitment to the mission and goals of Vios Compounding.

Responsibilities Include:
- Measures, weighs, counts, and compounds medications
- Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to formulation logs
- Establishes and maintains accurate patient records by entering correct lot numbers and expiration dates of compounded medications
- Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs
- Preparation and compounding of sterile products
- Maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to USP 797 and USP 800 requirements
- Capable of successfully completing Hand Hygiene and Garbing qualification
- Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports
- Clean equipment
- Performs to established efficiency metrics while adhering to quality standards
- Maintains compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned.
